I'm not a huge fan of fireworks. I don't freak out or anything. I'm pretty cool about it. I just like to stay inside with mom and dad because they make me a little nervous.
Dear Chubs, We realized this year that our dog Shelby is also really not a fan of fireworks. But we found a cure: Chicago. The band that is, not the city. Turn up those soft rock tunes real loud and you almost don't even notice the booming over the synths and crooning. The downside is that though Shelby loves Chicago, we can't stand them. :( Oh well, keeps her from pacing.
Thanks, Cicely! I will have mom go to the iTunes place and get some Chicago. I told her that lots and lots of food would cure me, too, but she didn't go for it.
